Paulin plate set

$38.00

Fall in love with the vintage Paulin plate set from Sabin Industries. These vintage ceramic plates depict a lovely scene with George and Martha Washington (rumor has it) taking a summer stroll. The delicate lace-like 22k gold rim goes all the way around each plate.

Sabin Industries was founded in 1945 by Sam Sabin and based in Mckeesport, PA. They purchased blank pottery and designed their own patterns on each piece. They were bought out in 1967 by David Chase of St. Clement pottery (the firm that made the blanks). The brand lasted until around 1980.

This is a found set, small imperfections and light wear are on all four plates. No cracks on any of the plates. A small chip can be found on one plate on the back, chip measures about 5/8 of an inch.

The plates measure 9 1/2 x 9 1/2 inches.

Additional uses: these would be perfect for hanging on the wall as a collection.
